The accreditation of the „Verein Traditionelle Chinesische Medizin Akademie“ as a private university expired on 10 August 2009 (within the meaning of § 6 Abs.1 Universitätsakkreditierungsgesetz UniAkkG BGBl. I Nr. 168/1999) since they did not submit an application for extension of accreditation.

All students were able to complete their studies until the end of June 2009. Thus all teaching obligations have been met by TCM Privatuniversität. During the accreditation period (10 August 2004 – 10 August 2009) 55 students successfully completed their studies attaining an academic degree. 23 students passed the offered university training courses.
